Si encuentras un blog de Blogger con contenido homofóbico

Muchos blogs de Blogger tienen contenido homofóbico, o bien en alguna de sus entradas, o en alguna de sus imágenes o en general en todo el blog. ¿Qué se puede hacer en estos casos? Denunciarlo a Blogger (y la forma rápida de acceder es pulsando aquí) y denunciarlo en este blog. 

Pero si quieres una explicación, aquí la tienes. ¿Se puede denunciar por homofobia en Blogger? Pues bien, Blogger en su ayuda en inglés (todavía no está en español) nos dice que:

Is hateful material permitted on Blogger?
Blogger strongly believes in freedom of speech. We believe that having a variety of perspectives is an important part of what makes blogs such an exciting and diverse medium. With that said, there are certain types of content that are not allowed on Blogger. While Blogger values and safeguards political and social commentary, material that promotes hatred toward groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity is not allowed on Blogger.

Lo que viene a decir que aunque están a favor de la libertad de expresión, en Blogger no se acepta material que promueva el odio a grupos basándose, entre otros, en la orientación sexual o identidad de género. Es decir, que claramente Blogger no acepta la homofobia y se puede y se debe denunciar.

De hecho, si nos vamos a su Blogger Content Policy (política de contenidos), como hace referencia, encontramos que:

HATEFUL CONTENT: Users may not publish material that promotes hate toward groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.

Es decir, lo mismo. Simplemente no se puede publicar contenido homofóbico, bifóbico o transfóbico. 

¿Qué debemos hacer entonces? Para empezar, denunciarlo a Blogger para que cierren el blog. En su explicación en inglés (tampoco está en español) nos dicen cómo hacerlo:

How can I report abuse?
Blogger takes violations of our Terms of Service very seriously. We encourage you to read through our Terms of Service as well as the Blogger Content Policy before filing a report with us.

After careful review, Blogger may remove content or place a content warning page before viewing content deemed offensive, harmful, or dangerous, such as:

Es decir, que nos explican que no quitan el material que sea insultante, injuriante, etc., pero sí que estudian con cuidado y eliminan los blogs que contienen material que promueve la homofobia.

Aquí hay que elegir el tipo de abuso que uno que denunciar. Marcamos Hate or violence (Odio o violencia) y pulsamos en Continue (continuar).

Entonces nos aparece otra página de advertencia diciendo que solo se toman en serio los casos de cosas como la homofobia y no los insultos.
